48V ADAS & Infotainment

Next generation 48V zonal automotive systems for ADAS and infotainment require highly efficient and reliable power management to support increasing processing demands, advanced sensing technologies, and connected vehicle features. These applications can utilize wide-input voltage ranges on a 48V battery, up to 70V. Power architectures used in zonal configuration can vary from wide input buck-boost converters, intermediate buck or boost converters, or point-of-load multi-phase buck converters. High-efficiency DC-DC conversion delivers stable power to cameras, radar, displays, networking modules, and centralized computing systems used throughout the vehicle. As vehicle systems continue evolving toward Centralized Computer from Domain Controllers and Zonal Architecture designs, power systems must support higher power density, reduced wire harness complexity, and improved thermal performance.

High Ripple Current
Many of our capacitors can support systems with high ripple demands, such as DC-DC converters, onboard chargers, and ECUs. These include our conductive polymer aluminum solid electrolytic capacitors and conductive polymer hybrid aluminum electrolytic capacitors.
