Long Life

We offer long-life options ideal for lighting applications. Our ULD series of miniature capacitors is guaranteed for 20,000 hours, effectively doubling the lifespan of LED lighting compared to the earlier UCY series. 

Compact Size with High Capacitance

We offer a variety of low-profile capacitors. Our low-profile snap-in terminal capacitors (LGG, LGL, LGJ, and LGJ(15) series) and miniature capacitors deliver high capacitance in small packages, useful in appliances like TVs and refrigerators.

High Permissible Abnormal Voltage

Nichicon manufactures capacitors with safety features to reduce risk and increase safety when voltage is unstable or overvoltage is anticipated. Our UAS, UTF, and UAQ series of capacitors are designed to handle extreme voltage spikes and improve safety in the event of DC overvoltages. Our LAW, LAR, and LGA series reduce risk of shorts in periods of overvoltage and are optimal in areas where power sources are unstable. 

High Ripple Current

Our high ripple current capacitors, such as the LGW series snap-in and the UCA, UCS, and UCP series miniature capacitors, allow for a reduction of the number of capacitors needed in your design. The high ripple rating, compact size, and low-loss characteristics of these capacitors make them ideal for use in air conditioners.

Low Impedance

We offer a variety of capacitors with greater electrode surface area and lower loss of electrolytic fluid/paper for greatly reduced impedance. Available in miniature (UHE, UHW, UPA, UPW), chip-type (UUD, UCM, UCL, UCD), and conductive polymer aluminum solid electrolytic (PCJ, PCK, RL8, RS8) forms, these solutions are ideal for precision products such as PCs and gaming consoles.
