Nichicon America Awarded for Excellence

Company Recognized by Distributor at Electronics Distribution Show

Nichicon America Corporation was given a Silver Supplier Quality Award in May. 

Nichicon America, an electronic components supplier based in Schaumburg, IL, received the award from Arrow Electronics, one of its authorized distributors. The Supplier Quality Awards are presented each year according to what Arrow calls the Perfect Order Index (POI). 

The POI consists of eight measurement points that fall under three categories: on-time delivery, customer credits/suppliers and receiving discrepancies. A Supplier Quality Award denotes operational success in each of these areas. 

This was Nichicon’s first Supplier Quality Award from Arrow.
