NICHICON Announces Partnership with PowerFilm Inc. by Using their Thin-Film Solar Technology to Power the SLB Battery

SCHAUMBURG, IL – June 13, 2023 – Nichicon Corporation and PowerFilm, Inc. are excited to announce a new partnership. Nichicon will help promote PowerFilm by utilizing their thin-film solar technology in association with our own SLB Series of Lithium Titanate Oxide (LTO) Batteries. The Nichicon SLB Battery is a high-performance lithium-titanate oxide rechargeable battery, making it ideal for use in applications such as IoT edge devices. With the help of PowerFilm Solar, the SLB can offer a more convenient and efficient solution for powering and charging devices.
