SCHAUMBURG, IL – Nichicon Corporation has developed the GYC Series of conductive polymer hybrid aluminum electrolytic capacitors guaranteed to 135 ℃, meeting the high-temperature requirements in the automotive onboard electronics and industrial equipment fields. These products were first displayed at CEATAC Japan 2018.
The GYC Series maintains the size, rated voltage and capacitance system of the current GYB series while increasing the category temperature range from 105 ℃ to 135 ℃. The product is expected to allow high performance and long life of devices used in high-temperature environments.
The GYC Series adopts an electrolyte compatible with conductive polymer that does not evaporate easily, even at high temperatures. The φ8 and φ10 are guaranteed at the highest level of 4,000 hours. The series is produced at Nichicon (Iwate) Corporation in Iwate Prefecture, Japan.
