Nichicon America Showcasing Advanced Energy Storage Technologies at CES 2026
12/2/2025
Schaumburg, IL — December, 2025 — Nichicon America Corporation will exhibit its latest energy storage and electronic component technologies at CES® 2026, taking place January 6–9 in Las Vegas.
Nichicon’s display will feature three core technologies:
High-Temperature SLB Series Batteries
Nichicon will highlight the newest High-Temperature SLB Series small lithium-titanate rechargeable batteries, designed for operation from –30°C to +80°C. These batteries offer rapid charging, long cycle life, and high safety, making them ideal for IoT devices, industrial sensors, wearables, and outdoor equipment exposed to extreme environments.
SCB Series Self-Charging Battery System
The SCB Series is a compact, light-powered self-charging battery module that harvests ambient light to maintain continuous operation. Designed for low-power IoT and sensing applications, the SCB reduces or eliminates the need for battery replacement, enabling long-term, maintenance-free performance.
Energy Storage and Capacitor Solutions
Nichicon will also present updates to its residential and commercial energy storage systems, along with advancements in aluminum electrolytic, polymer, and film capacitors used across consumer, automotive, and industrial electronics.
“Our goal is to provide reliable, long-life energy solutions for the growing demands of connected and intelligent devices,” said Craig Anderson, President of Nichicon (America) Corp. “CES gives us the opportunity to demonstrate how Nichicon technologies support safer, more efficient system design.”
Nichicon America will exhibit at:
Booth 9662, Las Vegas Convention Center
